All The Little Adventure Time Decor

Lampy Space Princess

LSP is made from an old unused lamp I found in the garage. Mike and I added three paper lanterns to the outside of the lamp parts. I drew on the face with a Sharpie and cut out the star from cardboard (and painted it). She turned out perfect!

Finn The Human

I didn't own a vinyl cutter, so I just bought this on Ebay.

The Wavin' Snail

As we see this character in every episode, the nursery wouldn't be complete without it. I made this out of clay, baked it, and started hiding it all over the room.

The Opening Credits

The nursery wouldn't have been complete without the opening credits displaying the main characters. I had Mike design the logo with our names and then ordered this through an online canvas printing company. Here we have Jenn (the mom-to-be), Mike (the dad-to-be), and Luna Lilly (the baby-to-be). We are prepared to embark on our most crazy awesome adventure yet... Baby Time.

The changing table was too white and boring... so my mother-in-law and I spiced it up. I made a velcro'd on "curtain" so all the important stuff would be covered up (diapers, wipes, extra blankets, etc.). Then my MIL and I made a custom changing table pad. We used a Finn and Jake flannel fabric backed with a matching orange/yellow polka dot flannel fabric. We left one side open and sewed in snaps so the inner batting could be removed and replaced if needed (and so the pad itself could be washed.

The Piano Area

Music is very important to me and Mike. It is important that our future spawn enjoy it as much as we do. So we left the piano in the nursery! On the bench in a blanket with A.T. fabric on one side and blue Minky fabric on the other. One end is velcro'd shut and the batting inside can be removed for cleaning.

I purchased the Enchiridion from Etsy as a fun way to build Luna's First Year Memory Book. It's unique and it looks awesome displayed! In addition, Luna will have a Pengu-Bank (not a piggy bank) of Gunther... err, Gunter... umm, Günter... or whichever minion she chooses. I made it out of a random cardboard storage container and just painted on the face!

Lady Rainicorn Mobile

Currently, she isn't needed as much, since we're using a canopied bassinet. But after the first couple months, we'll be transitioning Luna to the crib, when Lady will be quite useful in keeping our new baby distracted with fun bright colors.

Lemongrab Rug

SO ACCEPTABLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!! Lemongrab is one of our favorite characters from the show. Although it is nearly impossible to have just one favorite. They're all so good. But this was our "splurge."

Storage Wall Decorations
The items across the top include two different things.

First, the tin cube characters were a gift from my mom to start the collection. They are empty, and we have yet to decide if they'll be staying exactly there, or if they'll be placed on a wall shelf together.

The second collection is full of the centerpieces I made from my baby shower (yes, I DID have an Adventure Time themed baby shower!). My wonderful friends helped my create these using mason jars, tissue paper, photo printed princesses attached to skewers, ribbon, buttons, hot glue, and more. They turned out beautiful on the tables.

    1. Thank you! It took forever, and didn't last forever. But to this day we still have so much of these things scattered around the house.
