This is Finn and Jake's Tree House (reimagined)
This project was more of a "last minute" addition and took way more time than I would have expected. However, the result is quite awesome!
Each piece was drawn and cut out of cardboard first. Once cut, I hot glued different colors of felt over the top and trimmed the edges. I continued with as many details as I could find from the treehouse on the show. (please ignore the wiring, as this was remedied later with PVC piping)
The bottom entrance to the house probably took the longest. Each of the wood pieces/cactuses/roofing was either hand painted or cut out of felt (both taking a seriously long time to complete).
Overall, make sure you have a way to dye the top canopy and skirt OUTDOORS.
The smell is horrific!
Supplies Needed:
TONS of felt (in a ridiculous amount of colors)
TONS of cardboard (to make it sturdy)
Wire/string/PVC/duct tape (something to attach the pieces to the bassinet-- we tried a combination of all of these)
